'I'll never go to India': Pakistan grew up on the ODI World Cup stage

 Pakistan legend Javed Miandad believes that the PCB should not send its team to India for the ODI World Cup 2023 unless BCCI sends its team to Pakistan.

Batsman Javed Miandad spewed fresh venom against India, saying Pakistan should not travel to neighboring countries for tournaments, including this year's ODI World Cup, until the BCCI first agrees to send its team to home Pakistan will face India in the World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 15, according to the draft schedule prepared by the ICC. But the 66-year-old former captain believes it is time for India to visit Pakistan to strike back.

“Pakistan was in India in 2012 and even in 2016, it is the turn of Indians to come here,” Miandad said. "If I had to make a decision, I would not go to India to play, not even the World Cup. We were always ready to play against them (India) but they never reacted in the same way. He added, "Pakistan cricket is bigger... We have always produced good players. So I don't think it will affect us even if we don't go to India."

The last time India visited Pakistan was in 2008 for the 50th Asia Cup. Bilateral cricket relations have since been suspended due to long-standing geopolitical tensions between the two countries. Miandad believes that sport should not be confused with politics.

"I have always said that you cannot choose your neighbours, so it is better to live in cooperation with each other. And I have always said that cricket is a sport that unites people and removes misunderstandings, differences and hostility between nations," he said. said Miandad's new attack comes after Pakistan were due to host the upcoming Asia Cup in a mixed format, with India playing all their matches in Sri Lanka.

Miandad, an outspoken critic of India, did not accept the decision.  

"They are no longer expected to send their teams to Pakistan to participate in the Asia Cup, so now we have to take a firm stand," he said.
